About Second Life
Second Life, or SL, is a virtual-reality world where you control the actions of an avatar to explore your
surroundings. Some call it a game, but there are no rules or goals. It is a world where you can socialize with
others from around the globe. There are activities to enjoy in SL too -- such as exploring, skydiving, shooting,
racing, dancing, or just socializing. For many, SL provides an opportunity to explore sides of themselves that
